My Tour de National Hockey league journey has been a long, rewarding, and exciting experience enjoying the sport I love. It’s a journey that allowed me to re-connect with friends and family and create memories that will undoubtedly last a lifetime. But I sincerely hope that it’s a journey that impacts more than just my own life or the readers on my blog. I hope it’s a journey with a greater purpose: to benefit others.
Over the past five years, I’ve been blessed and incredibly fortunate to support Hockey Fights Cancer in partnership with the NHL. With their support, I’ve raised over $12,000 for cancer research and patient support services.
Any support, however small, can make a difference. As the late great coach Jim Valvano said, “It may not save my life. It may save my children’s lives. It may save someone you love.”
